Our travel certificates require a minimum of 30 days' notice before your desired check-in date. The properties we work with release available inventory 30 days out to help us match you with the best options. The only exception is if you choose an upgrade that includes a resort preview, in which case, we may be able to accommodate you with less than 30 days' notice—if available.

Yes, our digital travel certificates come with a 7-day activation window from the date they are sent.To activate, simply cover the daily taxes and fees associated with the certificate.

No, reselling or bartering our vacation packages is prohibited. Doing so will result in the certificate being voided, as it violates our terms and agreements. Our partnerships with hotels and resorts prevent us from allowing resale, as it could undermine their published rates and create unfair competition. For this reason, these certificates cannot be sold or exchanged for services in any way.

The recipient of this vacation package will enjoy a memorable getaway with accommodation at no cost. However, they are responsible for all other expenses, including but not limited to airfare, transfers, food and beverages, gratuities, resort fees (if applicable), and any other personal or miscellaneous costs.

Please note that each winner will also be responsible for nightly taxes, which must be paid within 7 days of the hotel voucher being issued.

Resort fees are common in the travel industry and typically cover amenities such as Wi-Fi, local calls, resort facilities, fitness centers, in-room safes, beach/pool chairs, umbrellas, towels, activities, and more. While resort fees are standard at most properties, certain destinations may not charge them.

Activating your voucher and paying the taxes are part of the same process. Unfortunately, we cannot cover the taxes for you or handle them on your behalf. Any tax-related inquiries should be directed to the travel agency once you receive your voucher.
If you encounter any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We may be able to assist by swapping your destination for another, depending on availability.

We may offer you additional incentives and savings to enhance your vacation experience. However, upgrading is entirely optional — you are never obligated to take advantage of these offers. They’re simply opportunities to make your getaway even more special.

We offer these incredible packages by filling otherwise unused hotel rooms, allowing resorts to generate additional revenue from guests spending on services like room service, spa treatments, dining, and more.

Because we help the hotels fill their empty rooms and our fees are minimal, we’re able to keep costs low, ensuring that more of your donation goes directly to supporting your favorite fundraiser or charity.

Once your donation is received, you’ll receive an email with your vacation certificate within 24-48 hours, ready to be redeemed. Please remember that the certificate must be activated within 7 days of receipt.

If you don’t see the email in your inbox, please check your spam folder. Sometimes, email providers may mark unfamiliar emails as spam. If it’s not there either, feel free to reach out to us at info@vacationfundraising.org or 508-784-1900. We’ll cancel the old certificate and issue a new one for you.

Recipients may activate one voucher within a 12 month period. Each certificate is valid for a single activation. 

While we promote specific properties for each destination, availability may vary. If the property we feature isn’t available, we may offer alternative options for you to choose from. Keep in mind that these are promotional offers designed to provide you with significant savings, so it’s different from booking directly at full price. The properties we partner with release unoccupied inventory to us about 30 days in advance, which helps us offer these exclusive deals.

Yes, you can! However, the majority of rooms available through this complimentary voucher are designed for up to 2 adults, with at least one occupant over the age of 21. While the voucher is primarily intended for couples or singles, some properties may allow up to 2 children (ages 12 and under) to stay in the same room, depending on room type and bed configurations.

Please note that when adding children to your search, you may find fewer available options. Most hotels are designed to accommodate 2 people, and additional adults or children may require room upgrades or larger suites. The availability and pricing for upgrades depend on the room and travel dates, so exact costs can’t be determined until you select your travel dates. All upgrade options will be presented online, allowing you to choose the best fit or continue searching for other properties.

While accommodating more than 2 people may be more challenging, upgrades are available in some cases based on availability.

Flights are not included in these vacation packages. The recipient is responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their flights.

Yes, there are a few requirements to be aware of:

  • For U.S. resort promotions, at least one person in the party must be over 21.
  • For Mexico offers, at least one person must be over 21 and have a passport to travel. A valid major credit card is also required for check-in.  If the property is all-inclusive, at least one person must be 28.
  • For Bali or Thailand travel, at least one person in the party must be over 21.
  • For U.S. resort stays, you’ll need a major credit or debit card , plus a valid government-issued ID to check in.
  • Certificate users must reside at least 100 miles away from the participating property. 

As with most promotional offers, blackout dates may apply, typically around holidays. The great news is that you have 18 months to travel, and inventory is updated daily, with new hotel options and travel dates being added regularly.
